More than two-thirds of Americans have played a game on their mobile phone in the past twelve months (as of 09/01/2018). Almost half have used an app for loyalty or reward programs.
The top tier of apps used include social media, games, weather, shopping, maps and entertainment. A few of the less popular types of mobile apps are used by those who tend to be younger in age, including dating and lifestyle apps.
